1. Solid friendships ...
year ECM occurs with between 20 and 30 younger than you, boys and girls. In a "brotherhood" thou shalt (one meeting in two ECM) experience multiple exchanges over the months you will discover the richness of the "other". Aided by the experience of each other, as and when meetings and activities you can do together to enter the joy of lasting friendships and make connections ... unforgettable. Meetings open to the "old" other vouchers will allow you to sample the atmosphere in the "family" ECM ...
2. Smart training ...
You need to learn about the faith of the Church , both for your own path and to be able to "realize the hope" that is in thee, with your friends of your knowledge, to those that God placed in your path. Half the time, the meeting suggest you ECM a guidebook about 1:15 (education + questions and answers) you will bring a better understanding of the Catholic faith and topics that interest you. These topos will be made by different priests, lay people, married couples .
So ... some concepts have (almost) no secrets for you at the end of this beautiful journey ... Here are some examples: Revelation, original sin, incarnation, the plan of salvation, Christology, redemption, eternal life, beyond, love and sexuality, emotional life, vocation, spiritualism and esotericism exorcism, new age, Christianity and status of other religions, Islam, church and sacrament, confession, Eucharist, Mary, infallibility of the Church?, doctrine Church's social and pattern of Church History, Testimony, Spiritual Warfare ... (Neither exact nor exhaustive list ...).
the heart of each of the lessons, priority will be given to the thoroughness and clarity of content, and the opportunity for you to translate it into terms appropriate for the ... mission.
3. School of "mission"
While not necessarily intended to be a priest or nun (!), Your baptism and your confirmation (if you're confirmed) makes you a "missionary". A missionary who does not know, maybe. The ECM will help you realize your vocation Christian evangelism : love your neighbor really means giving your friends, bring with him his burden, and desire him to know him as the love of God, fully revealed in Christ dead and risen. But how? ... come and see ... we learn to better live in love, to share our faith, to better answer some questions and we will live together "work practices" exciting and memorable ... 4 or 5 "missions" punctuate the year in which the "old" and / or members of the Emmanuel Community will give us a hand welcome.
Examples: evenings for Youth (skits, testimonies, questions and answers), street evangelism, operation "thermos" with the homeless, holiday music, animated by a mass in prison (Baumettes 2006), etc. ... The list is not fixed, and a proper place will be left to your initiative.
4. The Emmanuel Community?
The objective of ECM is not to integrate new members into the Community of Emmanuel, who directs the movie, but to offer you the opportunity to " consolidate "and" energize "your life and spiritual . 5. The taste of prayer ...
There is no secret: to experience the love of God and to be able to witness around you ... it is essential ... sending you to God himself! Therefore we will live each met two times of prayer, different in style. 6. A commitment that you build
